Arrive in Thailand. Your private guide meets you and escorts you to the hotel. Rest after your flight.
Start at Pak Khlong Talat flower & produce market—make garlands and lotus offerings. Visit the Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha, then Wat Pho. Long-tail boat on the Chao Phraya canals past houses and temples, with great views of Wat Arun. End at Wat Pho’s giant reclining Buddha.
Damnoen Saduak floating market by long-tail through narrow canals; Mae Klong Railway Market to watch vendors clear the tracks for trains; coconut farm with fresh coconut juice. Return to Bangkok.
Fly to Chiang Mai. After lunch and hotel check-in, walk the ancient moated city to Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Singh. Drive the scenic road to Doi Suthep’s Wat Phra That Doi Suthep for sunset views over the city and countryside.
